About Me

I am a strategic Human Resources leader, organizational consultant, and change management strategist with over a decade of hands-on experience guiding teams, transforming workplace cultures, and optimizing operations across non-profit, healthcare, and corporate environments. Throughout my career, I have grounded my approach in evidence-based care, scholarship, and rigorous academic frameworks to build resilient systems, foster sustainable organizational growth, and elevate human capital.
My foundational background in human resources began with progressive leadership roles at Goodwill of Silicon Valley from 2016 to 2021. During my tenure, I spearheaded critical operational and crisis management initiatives. In 2020, at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, I took ownership of designing, tracking, and executing employee safety protocols and case management, keeping workforce safety and operational continuity aligned during an unprecedented global health crisis.
A cornerstone of my work at Goodwill was leading a comprehensive Transformational Change Project (TCP). I initiated the effort with a strategic presentation to the Senior Leadership Team, followed by an in-depth SWOT analysis to align organizational capabilities with future demands. Although the project encountered significant external disruption due to executive restructuring—including the departure of the CEO, who served as the project’s internal sponsor and my mentor—the experience reinforced my expertise in change management models, crisis adaptability, and navigating complex institutional dynamics.
I continued to expand my HR leadership footprint as a Human Resources Generalist at Golden State Orthopedic & Spine (2021–2022) and later as a Regional Human Resources Business Partner at Telecare Corporation (2022–2024). In these healthcare and specialized care settings, I applied evidence-based management principles to drive operational excellence, improve compliance, and align talent strategy with clinical and organizational objectives. In September 2025, I took on operational oversight as a Security Specialist and Acting Supervisor with Allied Universal Security, followed by my appointment as HR Manager for California Young World in October 2025.
Beyond corporate HR operations, my entrepreneurial drive led me to found the Never Too Late to Dream Foundation in 2020. As director, I established nationwide partnerships with non-profit organizations to deliver critical resources to disadvantaged youth, alongside educational seminars covering financial responsibility, career preparedness, and personal development. After six years of impactful community service, the foundation was dissolved in July 2026. Building on this legacy of leadership and strategic execution, I founded NexSys Strategies LLC in July 2026, where I serve as Founder and Principal, delivering high-impact consulting solutions in organizational leadership, HR strategy, and change execution.
An academic at heart, my practical leadership is backed by robust academic scholarship. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English from Santa Clara University, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Leadership from Strayer University, and an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Mission College. Currently a Doctoral Candidate in Organizational Leadership and Business Administration at UMass Global University, I am finishing my dissertation, with my defense scheduled for late 2026 ahead of my graduation in May 2027.
Across every stage of my career, I bring a sharp, teachable, and collaborative mindset, continually leveraging evidence-based research and practical change leadership models to help organizations navigate transition, build capacity, and succeed.
